Accept card payments

How it works

Customers pay by card on the call (they type it on the phone keypad), with a secure link by text, or in your website chat. The money goes straight to your bank account through Stripe. Card numbers never reach Callonia, the AI or your staff.

Connect your bank account

1. Only the restaurant owner can do this. Open Card payments.
2. Click Set up payments on Stripe.
3. Fill in your business details, the owner’s details and your bank account on Stripe’s secure page.
4. When you come back, the panel shows “You can take card payments”. Payouts start once Stripe finishes checking your bank details.

Until it’s ready

Pickup orders can be paid at the restaurant. Delivery needs card payment, because the driver is booked right after the customer pays.

Refunds

Refund an order from the kitchen screen (⋯ > Refund to card) or from a complaint in your panel (Complaints), where you can also give store credit or a partial refund. Refunds take 5 to 10 days to reach the card.
